Yesterday, the three of us went for a walk together again, and we brought along the camera, because nature is supposed to be very pretty this time of year. The leaves haven't all turned yet, but I was afraid if I waited any longer to snap some photos, there won't be any leaves left on the branches!
Mother Nature did not disappoint. The trees were beautiful, and the weather was perfect. I found some really cute plants and a little wooly bear, which is pretty standard for this park. More surprising, we found a lizard, who was sunning himself on the ledges before we disturbed him. Apparently, it's not too cold for them yet? (I never claimed to be a nature expert.)
And, I can't go to the park without getting some kind of inspiration. So after some quick sketches, I came up with this little leaf pattern.
I'm undecided about what to use it for, but I have a few ideas bouncing around. (Maybe a sample wedding invitation?! A new birthday card?! I seriously can't make up my mind.) Anyway, I'll leave you with one last photo. Now go outside and crunch some leaves!
